Performance

"Kelleher...created an avalanche of sound – hushed whispers and pin drop effects lacing dollops of the good old honey dew guitar sound and taking the piece, in waves, from being brooding to dervish like.” - Indian Express

This has to be my favourite review of my playing ever! It was after a concert for the Delhi Symphony Society during a music tour of India with assistance from the British Council. I've enjoyed performing in a variety of contexts over the years. It has involved giving concerts for music clubs and societies as well as music series run by borough councils and churches. Special performances have been given through organisations such as The Council for Music in Hospitals. Collaborating with other musicians is a huge thrill and I've worked as part of a guitar duo with the Norwegian guitarist Tino Andersen and later with Ian Cooper. Other ensemble combinations have included voice and guitar with soprano Meinir Wyn Thomas. More recently I have worked with guitarist Sue Williams. We released the CD Imagens in 2012. You can listen and download it from itunes and cdbaby.

...a lovely new album and they have certainly achieved the ambition of guitar duos to "sound as one." - Classical Guitar

Currently I am working with cellist Charles Ellis. We are developing a very approachable and versatile programme - watch this space! I've also been busy with some solo performances this year. I hope you enjoy watching these couple of pieces from a recent concert..

My first solo cd Far from home was released in August 2014 and includes two of my own compositions. My latest recording Time and Place  was released in April 2016. Both are available on itunes and cdbaby
